About The Colour Nest

The Colour Nest is an artist-led practice in abstract painting. Original works, print editions, and art objects are made available through this website. Business name: The Colour Nest Email: info@thecolournest.com If you have any questions before placing an order, please contact the studio.

This website is provided for viewing, learning about, and acquiring works from The Colour Nest. You agree not to misuse this website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, copy content without permission, or use the website in a way that may cause damage to The Colour Nest or others. The Colour Nest may update, suspend, or withdraw parts of the website at any time

The Colour Nest makes every effort to describe works accurately. Original paintings are singular works. Print editions and art objects may be produced, prepared, or fulfilled after an order is placed. Images, colours, dimensions, materials, and descriptions are provided as accurately as possible. However, colour and surface may vary between screen and physical work due to screen settings, lighting, material, scale, texture, and production process. Slight variation between digital image and physical work is not usually considered a fault.

All works are subject to availability. Original paintings are singular and may not be available once acquired. Editions and objects may be limited by edition size, material availability, production capacity, or fulfilment constraints. If an ordered work cannot be produced or supplied, The Colour Nest will contact you and, where appropriate, offer an alternative, credit, or refund.

Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website. Prices include applicable taxes where required, unless stated otherwise. Delivery costs, taxes, customs duties, or import charges may be calculated separately at checkout or charged by local authorities, depending on the destination. Payment must be made through the payment methods available at checkout. An order is not accepted until payment has been received and The Colour Nest has confirmed the order.

After placing an order, you should receive an order confirmation by email. Please check the order confirmation carefully. If any details are incorrect, contact the studio as soon as possible. The Colour Nest reserves the right to refuse or cancel an order where there is an error in pricing, description, availability, payment, suspected fraud, or other issue affecting the order. If an order is cancelled by The Colour Nest after payment has been taken, a refund will be issued.

Some works may be produced or prepared specifically after an order is placed. Production times vary depending on the work, material, production process, and fulfilment schedule. Estimated production and delivery information will be provided on the relevant work page or during checkout, where available. If production is delayed, The Colour Nest will contact you using the details provided with your order.

You may request cancellation within 12 hours of placing your order, provided production, preparation, or fulfilment has not yet started. Once production, preparation, or fulfilment has begun, cancellation may not be possible, especially where the work is personalised, produced to your specification, or prepared specifically for your order. If you need to change a delivery address, size, edition, or order detail, contact the studio immediately. Changes are not guaranteed once production or dispatch has started. To request a cancellation or change, email: info@thecolournest.com Please include your order number in the subject line.

Where a statutory right to cancel applies, you may cancel within 14 days of receiving the item and return it within a further 14 days. Returned works must be unused, handled only as necessary for inspection, and returned in suitable protective packaging. Unless the item is faulty, damaged, incorrect, or not as described, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. Some works may not be eligible for change-of-mind cancellation or return where they are personalised, produced to your specification, or prepared specifically for your order. Nothing in these terms limits or removes any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.

If a work arrives faulty, damaged, incorrectly produced, or materially different from the order description, please contact the studio as soon as possible. Please include: your order number a short description of the issue clear photographs of the work photographs of the packaging, if the parcel arrived damaged The issue will be reviewed and, where appropriate, a repair, replacement, reprint, credit, or refund may be offered. Please report visible damage, faults, or order issues within 14 days of delivery where possible. This allows the studio to review the issue promptly and, where relevant, raise a matter with the carrier or production partner. This reporting timeframe does not remove any statutory rights you may have.

Please do not return any work without contacting the studio first. If a return is required, return instructions will be provided. Where the issue is confirmed as a fault, damage, or production error, reasonable return shipping costs will be covered where appropriate. Unapproved returns may not be accepted.

Where a refund is approved, it will usually be issued to the original payment method. Refund timing may vary depending on the payment provider, card issuer, or bank. Where a return is required, The Colour Nest may wait until the returned item has been received, or until you have provided evidence of return, before issuing a refund.

Orders are sent using the delivery method selected or assigned at checkout. Delivery times may vary depending on the work, production schedule, destination, carrier, customs process, and local delivery conditions. Tracking details will be provided where available. Unless otherwise agreed, goods will be delivered without undue delay and within the timeframe confirmed at the point of purchase.

If tracking has not updated or your order appears delayed, contact the studio with your order number. If tracking shows that a parcel has been delivered but you have not received it, please first check safe places around the property, with neighbours, in reception or mailroom areas, with other household members, and any delivery photographs or carrier notes. If the parcel still cannot be located, contact the studio. The issue will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis with the carrier where possible.
