A textile object translated from Primary Syntax (2025).

Where Object I holds the painting's central density, this second fragment takes a denser, more drawn register. Overlapping curvature, organic mass, and black weight sit against a pale ground. Colour relationships from the source work remain measured; structural tension stays legible when transferred onto a textile surface.

The translation shifts the work from pictorial space into use. Form and rhythm are preserved while the surface becomes tactile and dimensional. The object does not function as a reproduction. It adapts the painting's compositional logic, movement, restraint, and form — to a new material condition, allowing the fragment to exist within an interior without becoming illustrative or decorative.

Translation

Derived from Primary Syntax, 2025.
The fragment was selected for its concentrated curvature and the relationship between drawn mass and open ground. The composition has been adjusted to accommodate scale, seam placement, and surface continuity, ensuring the painting's internal logic remains intact within a soft, functional format.

Objects within TheColourNest extend painting into material use without reproducing it. This second fragment of Primary Syntax holds a denser drawn register — curvature, organic mass, and black weight — while remaining conceptually and materially linked to the 2025 painting. The object operates independently as a tactile form within everyday space.
