Form for Light No. 07 is a scalloped glass pendant selected for the way amber glass holds a honey colour in the shade and releases a warm field of light from a brass fitting.
A wide amber glass shade is cut with close vertical ribs and a scalloped rim. A brass-toned socket with a small turn-key sits above the glass; a twisted fabric cord drops from a circular ceiling rose. When lit, the glass deepens to honey and the ribs catch the glow.
Chosen by the artist to live within THE COLOUR NEST house, the object is presented as part of Forms for Light. Clear is Form for Light No. 05; Emerald is No. 06.
